About Me

I'm an artist/designer who adores what I do and am always looking for new ways to experience my passions.

Having grown up moving from one end of Canada to the next, I had the opportunity to see many different kinds of places and environments, including their artistic practices. As most children do, I also greatly enjoyed animated media, and still do and both showed me how to take the world I was seeing around me and create something new from it. I realised that art gave me something few things can; the ability to communicate with others on profound levels. I understood from then on what I wanted to do - I wished to communicate with others, on a deeper level. This has informed not just my art or career choice, but my life at large, I went from looking at art in my country alone to traveling abroad and exploring the internet for its unique creations as well as interacting with people from around the world - even learning new languages to speak with a variety of different peoples. My exposure to the artistic world has greatly inspired me, and I've only grown to appreciate it more as I've gotten older. I continue to find new forms of art from the world, different cultures, and the internet at large not only to enjoy but also to experiment with and extend my horizons of what this field is capable of.

I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, starting with cartoons that moved into various design-works later in life, I took every chance I could in school to be a part of art curriculars. From there I was taught about the fine arts, and expanded my skillset further into painting and photography. Currently I am studying at the University of Victoria for a Bachelor's Degree in the Visual Arts where I've pushed my practice into the theoretical. Over the years I have learned many different programs for art and traditional styles, and I've recently had the experience to work in the BDSB design department in the Government of Canada putting my abilities into practice and developing new ones. If you would like to find out more about my work, get in touch.
